Known nationally and internationally as a quilt maker, author, lecturer, and fabric designer, Jinny Beyer began her first quilt while living in India. Later, her original design "Bicentennial Quilt" won a first place in the 1976 Quilter's Newsletter Magazine contest, and "Ray of Light," won first place among 10,000 entries in Good Housekeeping's "Great American Quilt Contest" in 1978. Jinny produces her signature line with RJR Fashion Fabrics.
