| Asheville is a city with heart and soul and creative spirit. Surrounded by the beauty of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, it is an ideal place for inspiring the creative spirit. I fell in love with this city 12 years ago when I first visited and it has been nurturing the artist within me ever since. This quilt is a tribute to the boundless growth Asheville has spurred in me. I cannot imagine a better choice for the new home of The Alliance for American Quilts. |
