| I was inspired to contribute to this show welcoming The Alliance for American Quilts to my hometown, Asheville, North Carolina. Any home is a balance of warm shelter and dynamic tension. "Making a Home" reflects the pulling together of forces that seek to settle into a whole but struggle to fit together. The sun and moon on the roof represent time. |
