26. "Playing with the Quilt Muse"

Once upon a time, late at night when everyone else was asleep, a quilter sat near her window quilting. Riding in on a moonlight breeze, the quilt muse arrived like a butterfly: silent, wild, beautiful. As the quilter and the muse played, a selvedge house was built and decorated. They smiled as they added a gold acorn to the pretty red door. Then the muse disappeared, but it will be back. That's why quilters love to quilt.
