| An article in the Asheville Citizen-Times, January 21, 2006, about The Alliance for American Quilts moving to Asheville included the architects' drawing of The Alliance's new home. Architectural features of the building were the inspiration for this quilt design. Of course, The Alliance's new home is decorated with its logo and quilts. My hope is that when you move to Asheville you will feel you are coming home; thus, the quilt's name: "Welcome Home!" |
