| In January 2006 an article appeared in the Asheville newspaper showing the new development where The Alliance will find its new home. The building is still under construction and the workmen are trying to meet the August 2006 deadline. What tools are the carpenters using to build our new office? When I square up a large quilt, I often use a carpenter's square. My husband recently bought me a small hammer to have in my studio, and I use a 12 foot tape measure when I am cutting large amounts of fabric. Perhaps I am the tool man holding pins in my mouth. Does a carpenter hold nails in his mouth? |
