| My 90 year old Mother-in-Law gave me a box of orphan blocks. The main block in this quilt is hand-pieced; but it is stained, has virtually no seam allowance and is way off-kilter. However, that is just part of its charm and I wanted to do my best to incorporate it into this quilt. I recycled some of the other orphan blocks by re-using their fabric along with some new reproduction fabric. It’s named, “Midwest Makeover.” |
