| Handkerchiefs were a necessity for ladies of an earlier era. Today, they are memories for most of us. I used the red floral handkerchief with the contrast of the bold stripes of a contemporary print to depict the now and then. We have bold new ideas but enjoy our old ones. The violet is a symbol for humility and shyness. A handkerchief is a welcome accessory for a Shrinking Violet. |
