| My appreciation for quilts of the past has inspired me as an artist. I admire the work of contemporary quilt makers as well. The goal is to find the happy medium, combining the skill of handwork with contemporary designs and fabrics. I love the combinations of pattern, shape and color in fabric! This piece is a blend of wool patches, vintage buttons saved by a Grandmother, a book of modern inspiration and a desire to create something “New from Old”. |
