| The first quilt I remember was made by my great grandmother for my mother in the 1960’s. She made spool blocks from scraps, and I always loved how the outline quilting design made it so puffy and soft after it was washed. In this piece, I have used my own modern scraps, pieced in strips, in an updated tribute complete with outline quilting. |
