| The potted flowers on my front porch are dropping their petals as summer's end approaches. This quilt represents that transition, but with the fresh, cool colors of early summer. I even used the same acrylic paints on this quilt that I used to paint my flower pots last spring! That's what I love most about quilting - fabric is a versatile medium, and as quilt artists keep experimenting, who knows what we'll come up with next? |
