| The nostalgia implicit to quilting brings with it a working method and a history of typified imagery. I have taken this medium as heredity and combined with it the study of fine arts and architecture from my own life, combining space and depth with the intrigue of tactile craftsmanship. In this piece I used the stitching as my line work and the fabric as the shift in color over the curvature existing in the human form. |
