| I have been quilting for about 8 years. As a child, our neighbor marked quilts, which fascinated me. My first quilt was appliqué, which is my favorite. I have used bought patterns and added some of my own designs in my first quilts. This block "Spring Blues" is my own design - done in silk - machine appliquéd with silk thread - machine quilted, cotton batting and some free hand machine quilting. |
