| This piece reflects my transformation from weaver to quilter; from one who weaves the cloth to one buy buys it commercially woven and manipulates it. The background with its linoleum block cut imagery is integrated with strips of cloth which I designed by dyeing, using selective color removal and screen-printing. This imagery is from a series of autobiographical stories, which I frequently incorporate in my work. |
