| This is my first crazy quilt, and I almost threw it in the trash a few times. Never sewed with velvet before and it gave me fits. This would not have been possible without the wonderful "squishy" pack supplied by accomplished crazy quilter Allison Aller, which included all the silk in the piece, plus the lace, beads and most of the embroidery thread. You are my inspiration, Allie, and you made me want to try this again. Isn't that part of the fun of contests: trying something new? |
