| Techniques included are: stumpwork, trapunto, hand applique, beading, hand embroidery, paper piecing, piping, machine embroidery, over dyeing background fabric. | This is my fourth quilt and the smallest one. I am a retired art teacher and have switched from watercolors to fiber art. The textures and variety of fabrics used in making a crazy quilt, not to mention “no rules,” are what attracted me to them. I find joy in the hunt for special ribbons, laces and beads for a project. I have recently taken up bobbin lace making. |
