Mind the Gap began not very promising: the German guild drew grey as main colour for the presentation in England (why not take my favourite green as member of the dutch guild?) – the unpracticed weaving technique with raveling fabrics needed a sheer cover that ruined needles, threads and my patience to add more quilting. It finally turned out really nice, and although it was rejected, I love this piece.
