| I arrived in Cairo, Egypt on Feb. 18th, one week after the 30-year Mubarak dictatorship was removed by a passionate but peaceful revolution of the people. AAQ’s People, Patterns and Passion theme was just too compelling not to record this moment in history. Peaceful demonstrations continue. Photos by Amy and Ann Holmes. I used supplies at hand, purchasing a jersey knit Egyptian flag from a man running beside our taxi in a traffic jam. |
