| The theme “Alliance(s)” instantly evoked a memory of Darth Vader saying “You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor!” (I couldn’t get James Earl Jones’ voice out of my head!) So I knew I had to combine some classic piecing techniques with a Star Wars image … luckily, my friend, and co-member of the Broadway Gentlemen’s Quilting Auxiliary, Melanie, was on board! And so together we created “R2-D2; Droid of the Rebel Alliance! May the Four-Patch Be With You!” |
