| Once upon a time, there was a little girl with blond hair who had a passion for purple and wearing purple dresses. That little girl was my daughter who is now all grown up – she no longer has blond hair but still has a passion for purple. This block was made many years ago when I made a dress for her out of the same fabrics and then it became a UFO. It seemed that the time was right to make it into a small quilt for AAQ and dedicate it to all little girls who are passionate for purple. |
