| My grandmothers were my heroes, my inspiration and my pathway to the tradition of quilting. Their spirits, encouragement and guidance help me create pieces that forge an alliance between the past and future. Starfall features a 1940s vintage block that has been embellished with buttons from both grandmothers, cobalt blue rickrack, and freeform machine quilting. It was created in honor Kathryne Elizabeth Say and Minnie Opal Wilson. |
