| Split 4 Ways is the latest piece in a series I’ve been making using a technique I call “split piecing”. I first saw this technique demonstrated on Kathleen Loomis’ blog “Art with a Needle”; I’ve taken it in a different direction. In this piece, I’ve tried to see just how many patterns I could combine and still have a coherent composition. I think I’ve succeeded and I’ll take it even further next time. |
