| As I thought about this theme, I was glued to news of the protests in Cairo, Egypt. People with passion for self-rule. Most of us in the West looked on with admiration for their courage, excitement for their victory, amazement at the spread of democracy to other countries, and hope for new alliances across the Mid-East. Heart in Hand, Hamsas, marked ballot boxes and a dove of peace seemed like appropriate patterns. |
