| After an unexpected ending of a relationship, I had to find something to do with my time. I chose quilting. It has been 5 years and the emptiness is still present. I began a series of heart related pieces two years and am still creating them. I suppose I feel if I express the hurt I have in my heart by creating art, eventually the pain will go away. This piece represents how a heart deteriorates after a loss and is never really healed. I thought the colors really represent the hurt. |
