| When the contest theme was announced, my first thought was the alliance of flowers and bugs. I enjoy hand appliqué, so the choice of method was easy. Although I am constantly designing art quilts, this is only the second hand applique that I have designed. It was a great challenge and a lot of fun to do. I can’t wait to find out the theme for next year. |
