| As a retired art teacher and painter I welcomed the discovery of art quilts and the opportunity to use my creativity and painting skills. Through influence of Simply Quilts, quilter magazines and friends I gradually developed a signature style shown in this challenge quilt: tinted fabric, tulle covering, long quilting strokes and appliqué. My first thought about the alliance theme is demonstrated by penguin survival related to humans. |
