| My piece uses blues and greens to represent Mother Earth. Both the plant and animal based fibers used are representative of the life forms that the earth supports. Patterns are reflected throughout the piece. Each element is connected to another by a proverbial single thread. Supported by Mother Earth, the golden, translucent hands are united in the center, passionately allied to honor and protect the natural patterns which form the fabric of the earth. |
