Moda's Civil War Crossings quilt kit (shown at left) includes fabric from a collection designed by Barbara Brackman. The pattern was inspired by circa 1900 quilt that was documented during the Quilts of Tennessee state quilt survey. The documentation of that quilt is now presented in the Quilt Index, where you can view the amazing quilt that inspired this kit.
