"If These Quilts Could Talk: Samples from the Q.S.O.S. Oral History Collection"
Kentucky quiltmaker Pam Neil talks about her Quilters' S.O.S. - Save Our Stories interview. In Pam's oral history interview with Q.S.O.S. volunteer interviewer Kathy Hall she describes the making of "Scott's Victory Quilt" a signature quilt made by Pam and the family and friends of her stepson Scott, while he was serving in Afghanistan.
Pam's quilt was one of 14 quilts displayed in a special exhibit presented by the Alliance for American Quilts titled "If These Quilts Could Talk," presented at the 2010 International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas.

Although the AAQ's Quilters' S.O.S.- Save Our Stories project is an audio oral history project we have now begun recording and presenting portions of interviews or "video postscripts" like the one below with recent Q.S.O.S. interviewee, quiltmaker Michael Michalski.
