Perfect summer reading!
A new batch of Quilters' S.O.S. - Save Our Stories interviews has just been posted to the AAQ website. Quiltmakers from Maine, Oregon, Vermont, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas were recently interviewed for this grassroots oral history project. "New from Old" Contest Quilts at the Asheville Quilt Show
There will be a special trunk show of the "New from Old" contest quilts at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 8th at the Asheville Quilt Show. Join AAQ executive director Amy Milne and some of the "New from Old" artists for an intimate show and tell of this stunning group of entries in our annual small quilt contest, including the 2nd prize winner "Heavenly Swirls" (pictured at left) by Dana Lynch of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
